Real Madrid quoted price to sign Mexican striker
Real Madrid will reportedly have to pay a fee of around £54m in order to sign Raul Jimenez from Wolverhampton Wanderers in the next transfer window.
Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane is expected to move for a new striker during the summer with Luka Jovic having failed to offer sufficient competition to Karim Benzema this term.
According to Sport, Wolves are open to parting ways with the 28-year-old and this has caught the eye of Los Blancos, who have been dependent on Benzema to lead the line this season.
However, the Mexican won't come on the cheap, given Wolves are prepared to demand as much as £54m to sanction his departure at the end of the current campaign.
Jimenez has been in top form for the west Midlands outfit this season and he has contributed 22 goals and 10 assists in 44 appearances for the club in all competitions.
Apart from Real Madrid, the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal have also been credited with an interest in the Mexico international, who previously played for Benfica.
