Alexandre Lacazette reacts to Atletico Madrid speculation
Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette has dismissed the recent speculation linking him with a potential move to Atletico Madrid during the summer.
The Frenchman has had a frustrating season where he has struggled for form and has netted only nine times for the club across all competitions.
Earlier this week, a renowned Atletico Madrid fan page tweeted that Lacazette had been in contact with Barcelona ace Antoine Griezmann regarding Atletico.
This was quickly branded as 'lies' by the player's representatives 'Score Agencies' on Twitter while Lacazette described the speculation as 'not beautiful at all''
Lacazette found himself playing second fiddle to Eddie Nketiah for the striker's role before the coronavirus shutdown but he still managed to impress with goals off the bench.
One of those came in the slender 1-0 win over West Ham United in early March and it won't come as a surprise, if he reclaims a starting spot when the season recommences by next month.
