Chelsea to make fresh move for Dutch defender?
Chelsea could reportedly retain their interest in re-signing Nathan Ake from Bournemouth at the end of the current season.
The Blues were heavily tipped to sign their former graduate in January by taking up the £40m buy-back option available to them.
That was not the case as they were unable to make any signings but it is now reported that they are considering a summer move for the versatile defender.
Frank Lampard's side still have the option of the buy-back clause at their disposal but they are aiming to land the Dutchman for a reduced fee amid the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
Furthermore, it is suggested that they could sign him for around £20m, suppose the Cherries face relegation from the Premier League at the end of the season.
Callum Wilson is another Cherries player, who has been linked with the Blues in the past. The club have, however, cooled their interest in the striker with their focus on recruiting Inter Milan's Lautaro Martinez.
