Arsenal enter the race to sign Bundesliga winger
Arsenal have reportedly joined Borussia Dortmund in the race to sign Moussa Diaby from Bayer Leverkusen.
The Frenchman made the move to the German outfit from Paris Saint-Germain last summer and he has proved a quality signing for them with five goals and eight assists from 27 appearances.
According to Le10Sport, the north London giants have made contact with the representative of the 20-year-old with a view to a possible transfer at the end of the season.
Leverkusen are expected to demand a fee of around £27m to consider the winger's sale and it is unclear whether the Gunners can afford to meet the figure amid the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Capital outfit will need to offload some of their existing players to boost their transfer kitty for the summer and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Sokratis and Shkodran Mustafi are among those, who could part ways with the club.
Diaby, who is a left winger by trade, recently returned to action with Leverkusen after the coronavirus shutdown with a couple of assists in the 4-1 league win over Werder Bremen.
