Chelsea agree five-year contract with emerging star
Chelsea have announced that young midfielder Tino Anjorin has put pen-to-paper on a new long-term contract.
The 18-year-old is regarded as one of the Blues' most promising graduates and he was handed his league debut during the 4-0 win over Everton in March.
The west London outfit currently have numerous senior options in the attacking and central midfield department, but the teenager has still agreed to sign a fresh five-year deal with the club.
"It's a brilliant feeling. I had no hesitation but to take it straight away because to play for the club I always dreamed of playing for is really special for me," he told the Blues' official website.
Anjorin can operate in different midfield positions but he has generally featured in the number 10 spot. He has bagged 11 goals and six assists for the development squad during the ongoing campaign.
Mason Mount and Ross Barkley are among the choices for Frank Lampard at the moment but new signing Hakim Ziyech could also slot into the role next season.
