Predicted Manchester United XI vs Norwich City

Manchester United are scheduled to face Norwich City on the road in tonight's FA Cup quarter-final. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is set to make a number of changes to the starting lineup and Jesse Lingard could be one of those involved.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Predicted Lineup:

Sergio Romero has been the preferred pick in goal for the Cup competitions and it won't come as a surprise, if he replaces David de Gea between the sticks.

In the defence, Brandon Williams could replace Aaron Wan-Bissaka at right-back. At the heart of the backline, we are fancying Victor Lindelof to make way for Eric Bailly. Harry Maguire should partner the Ivorian with Luke Shaw occupying the left-back position.

In the centre of the park, we are anticipating a complete reshuffle from the midweek game. Scott McTominay should return to the starting lineup and he could play alongside Fred. The duo had formed a good midfield partnership during the first half of the season before McTominay got injured.

Further forward, Juan Mata could take up the number 10 position ahead of Bruno Fernandes. Lingard and Daniel James are likely to take up the wide attacking positions. Lingard missed the Sheffield game through an illness and Solskjaer has hinted that he could be involved from the off.

Upfront, Odion Ighalo could get a rare start. The Nigerian has not been used regularly in the league games for United and he will want to make an impact against the Canaries. He bagged a brace against Derby County in the previous round.

Predicted Lineup: Sergio Romero, Brandon Williams, Harry Maguire, Eric Bailly, Luke Shaw, Scott McTominay, Fred, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, Daniel James, Odion Ighalo
