Chelsea, Everton want to sign Watford goalkeeper
Chelsea and Everton are in the running to sign goalkeeper Ben Foster from Watford this summer, a report from The Sun claims.
The England international only signed a fresh two-year deal with the Hornets in June, but he could be on the move after the club's relegation from the top-flight.
According to The Sun, he is currently on the radar of both Chelsea and Everton and he could have the assurance of regular playing time with the former of those clubs.
Blues boss Frank Lampard is aiming to find a new number one to replace Kepa Arrizabalaga and Foster has emerged as a cost-cut option for the club for next season.
Meanwhile, Toffees manager Carlo Ancelotti is said to want competition to Jordan Pickford, who was susceptible to making goalkeeping errors last season.
Foster has played the past 14 seasons in the top-flight. He previously chose to leave Birmingham City and West Bromwich Albion after they were relegated from the Premier League.
