Leeds United interested in Arsenal goalkeeper?
Leeds United are one of the clubs interested in signing goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez from Arsenal this summer.
The Argentine impressed for the Gunners during the final weeks of the previous campaign following the knee injury to Bernd Leno.
He continued the good form in the Community Shield game win over Liverpool with a couple of quality saves, but his future could lie elsewhere.
According to The Mail, the Gunners are likely to sanction Martinez's exit in the coming weeks as he is eager to earn regular game time.
It is added that Leeds are one of the teams, who could make the move to sign him despite the purchase of Illan Meslier earlier this summer.
Meslier was signed on a permanent deal from Lorient after he impressed on loan last term, but he may not be guaranted the number one role.
Marcelo Bielsa wants an experienced shot-stopper to start between the sticks and Martinez has emerged as an option on the back of his standout displays.
The newly-promoted outfit have Kiko Casilla in their squad, but reports claim that the former Real Madrid man could be shown the exit door.
