Kolasinac rejects Premier League club to stay and fight for his place
Arsenal left-back Sead Kolasinac doesn't want to leave Arsenal this summer.
Mikel Arteta informed the player that he was the second choice after Kieran Tierney on the left.
Kolasinac's former club Schalke and West Ham United had registered their interest to sign the Bosnian defender.
But according to The Guardian, the 27-year-old defender is not interested in a move to the Irons and has decided to fight for his place at Arsenal.
Arteta had been keen to shift the Bosnia international, but he will now likely stay at the Emirates to provide competition for the Scottish defender.
Arsenal are trying to offload players to recoup the funds to make transfers. Mikel Arteta wants to make one more signing before the transfer window shuts. His main targets are Thomas Partey and Houssem Aouar.
Sead Kolasinac signed for Arsenal in the summer of 2017 as a free agent. The Bosnian defender has played 105 games for the Gunners, contributing 5 goals and 15 assists. He has won the FA Cup twice at Arsenal.
