Arsenal end interest in Spanish shot-stopper

Arsenal have reportedly ended their interest in signing Brentford goalkeeper David Raya.
The Gunners have recently sanctioned the sale of Emiliano Martinez to Aston Villa and they are now on the look out for a quality back-up option behind Bernd Leno.
Raya has been mentioned as the top target in recent weeks, but the Gunners have ended their pursuit after it became clear that the Bees have no intention to sell the Spaniard this summer.
As a result, the club have shifted their attention to Dijon shot-stopper Runar Alex Runarsson and Football.London claims that he has already undergone a medical.
Gunners goalkeeping coach Inaki Cana had recommended the signing of Raya to the hierarchy and it is claimed that Runarsson is another player that was mentioned by the 44-year-old.
Runarsson, who already has five caps with the Iceland national side, could be recruited from Dijon for a relatively cheap fee between £1.5m and £2m this month.
