Joe Rodon set for Tottenham deadline transfer

Swansea City defender Joe Rodon looks set to make a transfer deadline day move to Tottenham Hotspur, with the North London outfit ready to spend £23 million to secure the youngster's prized services. The 22-year-old Welsh international has caught the eye since making his debut for the Swans back in 2018, and the 6 foot 4 defender is set to add valuable defensive cover to Tottenham's squad this summer.
It is understood that Spurs will beat both Manchester United and West Ham to the transfer of Rodon, with the player to seal a four year contract at the White Hart Lane outfit.
Rodon, who has yet to play a game in the Premier League having made his debut when the Swans were first relegated back to the Championship, has established himself as one of the league's best defenders in recent months.
Rodon has been capped four times by the Welsh national team, and it is hoped that Rodon will fill a gap in defence alongside current trio Eric Dier, Davinson Sanchez and Toby Alderweireld.
