Granit Xhaka makes Arsenal transfer decision

Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka has no plans of leaving the club in January despite the transfer interest from Inter Milan.
Xhaka started the season as the first-choice midfielder, but he has recently found himself warming the bench with Thomas Partey, Mohamed Elneny and Dani Ceballos preferred ahead of him.
A recent report claimed that the Switzerland international could make the switch to the Nerazzurri in January which may see Christian Eriksen move in the opposite direction.
However, according to Calciomercato, the 28-year-old is not considering a move away from the Emirates and will reject the chance to join Antonio Conte's side at the turn of the year.
Partey won't be available for the upcoming clash against Leeds United with a thigh injury while Elneny has also been sidelined after testing positive for the coronavirus.
The setbacks for the duo should see Xhaka return to the starting lineup alongside Dani Ceballos. The Gunners are currently 11th in the standings with 12 points after eight games.
