Jurgen Klopp updates on Liverpool's transfer plans

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has insisted that the club are unlikely to pursue a new centre-back during the ongoing transfer window.
The Reds are currently without three central defenders in Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip due to injury setbacks.
Out of those, Van Dijk and Gomez could be ruled out for the rest of the season while Matip's fitness has been a concern every now and then.
This has seen Fabinho play as a regular in the central defence and he has been partnered by Rhys Williams or Nat Phillips, who are inexperienced.
It has been reported in recent weeks that the Reds could recruit a new centre-back in January, but Klopp has said the chances are very less.
"I cannot say definitely we will not bring one in but it is just not likely because of the situation in the world," He told.
Liverpool will be aiming to end a three-match winless streak when they face Aston Villa on the road in the FA Cup third round tomorrow.
