Arsenal interested in signing Real Madrid attacker
Arsenal have reportedly approached Real Madrid regarding a possible loan deal for Martin Odegaard.
The Norway international impressed on loan with Real Sociedad last term with seven goals and nine assists from 36 appearances.
Hence, he was reinstated into the first-team squad by Zinedine Zidane, but he has hardly played with only 367 minutes of first-team football.
According to Sky Sports News, the 22-year-old is free to leave on a temporary deal this month and the Gunners are one of the clubs interested in him.
The north London giants already have the services of Dani Ceballos on loan from Los Blancos and are hopeful of convincing Odegaard to join them.
Aside from the Gunners, another Premier League club is in the running for Odegaard while he has also been linked with a return to Sociedad.
Mikel Arteta's side are desperate to land a creative midfielder before the transfer deadline and they have been linked with multiple players.
Norwich City's Emiliano Buendia has been regularly associated with them, but a deal appears unlikely due to the Canaries' hefty £40m price tag.
