Manchester United attacker keen on West Ham United move
Manchester United attacker Jesse Lingard is reportedly open to joining West Ham United on loan for the rest of the campaign.
The England international has fallen down the pecking order at the Red Devils and he has yet to make a league appearance this term.
Hence, he has been tipped to head for the exit door and Sky Sports News claims that the Hammers are leading the race to sign him temporarily.
The east London outfit will need to pay around £3m to cover the loan fee and wages, but they also have another concern.
Every Premier League side is permitted a maximum of two players on loan from domestic clubs and the Hammers have filled both positions.
Craig Dawson and Said Benrahma are occupying the slots and reports claim that the Hammers may buy the latter from Brentford this month.
In that case, they would be free to land Lingard on a short-term loan before the transfer window closes on Monday.
