Arsenal receive selection blow ahead of Manchester United game

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang news

Aubameyang to miss Man Utd clash

Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang looks set to miss out on the forthcoming Premier League clash against Manchester United.

The Gabon international has been absent for the club's previous two games in all competitions due to the ill health of his mother.

Aubameyang hinted that he will be ready to face United on Saturday, but Football.London claims that he has been ruled out of the game.

In that case, Nicolas Pepe is expected to continue on the left wing after putting up a good display against Southampton in midweek with a goal.

Meanwhile, Thomas Partey and Emile Smith Rowe have overcome their knocks and they are available for selection.

In a further boost, Kieran Tierney has returned to full training after a minor calf problem and he is likely to make the starting XI as well.

The Gunners have picked up form over the past month with five wins and one draw in the last six Premier League games.

They are now within seven points of the Champions League places and will be aiming to continue the good form going this weekend.
