Chelsea receive double injury boost for Southampton clash
Chelsea have received a double injury boost ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash against Southampton on the road.
The Blues have picked up form since the appointment of manager Thomas Tuchel last month and they have dropped only two points from a possible 15.
The excellent run sees them in the fourth spot on the table but they are only goal difference ahead of London rivals West Ham United.
Ahead of tomorrow's game, the club have confirmed a double fitness boost with both Tammy Abraham and Kai Havertz back in the squad.
Abraham sustained an ankle injury against Newcastle United on Monday and there were concerns that he could be out for some time.
However, that has not been the case and he was involved in full training. He looks likely to lead the line at St Mary's.
Havertz has been out for the past couple of weeks after picking up a knock prior to the derby against Tottenham Hotspur.
He is also in contention to face the Saints but may have to settle for a bench role after being out of action for the past fortnight.
