Arsenal confirm fitness boost ahead of Leicester City clash
Arsenal have confirmed that defender Rob Holding has returned to training ahead of the Premier League clash against Leicester City.
The centre-back was brought off against Manchester City last weekend after a blow to his head and hence needed to follow the concussion protocols.
He missed the midweek Europa League tie against Benfica but is in line to face the Foxes after returning to training earlier on Saturday.
Holding partnered Pablo Mari during the 1-0 league defeat to the Cityzens and manager Mikel Arteta may go with the same combination once more.
The Gunners are currently 11 points adrift of the final Champions League spot, but they have an excellent opportunity to reduce the gap with a win.
West Ham United are presently occupying the fourth position, but they have played a game more than their London counterparts.
Meanwhile, the Gunners will be aiming to beat the Foxes in the league for the first time since October 2018 when they registered a 3-1 win at home.
