Mikel Arteta updates on Smith Rowe's injury
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has provided an update on Emile Smith Rowe's injury ahead of the Premier League clash against Burnley.
The attacker has been a regular starter for the Gunners since Boxing Day, but he is set to miss the Clarets game with a hip problem.
Smith Rowe was substituted during the first half of the Leicester City clash with the concern, but Arteta has said that the issue is not significant.
He told Arsenal.com: "Emile had a scan yesterday, it doesn’t look a significant injury but he was in discomfort. For the rest, hopefully everybody should be okay."
The Gunners are currently 10th in the standings with 37 points, eight adrift of West Ham United, who are occupying the final Champions League spot.
They registered a stunning victory at the King Power Stadium last weekend where they came from a goal behind to seal a comfortable 3-1 win.
Arteta will be aiming for his side to pick up back-to-back league victories ahead of the first leg of the Europa League last 16 at Olympiacos.
