Arsenal receive Odegaard transfer boost

Arsenal have received a boost in re-signing Martin Odegaard from Real Madrid once his loan spell concludes.

The Norwegian joined the Gunners from Los Blancos in January and he has been a huge hit in a short space of time.

The midfielder has netted only twice from 12 games for the club, but he has been influential in the lead-up to several other goals.

According to Football Insider, the Gunners could be handed a chance to re-sign Odegaard permanently, if Zinedine Zidane remains at the Bernabeu.

The French tactician hardly played Odegaard during the first half of the campaign and it is claimed that he 'does not want' the playmaker.

Still, it is uncertain whether the north London giants can afford Odegaard permanently, and it is reported that they may seek another loan deal.

The Gunners have built a good relationship with Los Blancos in recent years and they previously re-signed Dani Ceballos on loan for a second year.
