Serie A giants propose swap deal for Chelsea defender
Juventus are exploring the prospect of signing Chelsea defender Emerson in a swap deal involving Alex Sandro.
Emerson has fallen down the pecking order since January. He is the third-choice behind Ben Chilwell and Marcos Alonso for the left wing-back role.
With just 12 months left on his contract, the Blues are likely to consider his departure, and Tuttosport claims that Juventus are keen on landing him.
The Bianconeri are unlikely to pay the reported £17m asking price, but they could instead offer Sandro in exchange for the Italian.
Sandro was regularly linked with the Blues between 2016 and 2018, and the club could revive their interest in the Brazil international.
He could come in as a replacement for Alonso, who is considering his options, having played second fiddle to Chilwell in recent weeks.
Alonso was the regular starter when Thomas Tuchel was appointed as the head coach in January, but he has since been leapfrogged by Chilwell.
