Arsenal winger wants to leave the club next month
Arsenal winger Willian could pursue a fresh challenge away from the Gunners during the summer transfer window.
The Brazil international joined the club on a free transfer last summer following the expiry of his contract with Chelsea.
The move has not work out as planned. Willian has barely played for the Gunners during the second half of the campaign.
The 32-year-old has struggled for consistency. While he has registered seven assists from 37 appearances, he has scored just once.
According to The Mirror, the Brazilian is open to leaving the Gunners after just one season, and has his sights on a move to MLS.
Willian's current deal only expires in June 2023, and his chances of leaving the club may depend on a mutual contract termination.
The Gunners are planning to overhaul their squad this summer, and could be open to offloading the attacker to cut their wage bill.
Aside from Willian, the likes of David Luiz, Hector Bellerin, Bernd Leno and Granit Xhaka have been tipped to head for the exit door.
