Sergio Aguero on the verge of Barcelona move
Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero is expected to join Barcelona shortly after the Champions League final against Chelsea next month.
The Argentine has been a superb performer for the Cityzens over the past decade, but he will leave them when his contract expires in June.
He has been linked with the Catalan giants on countless number of occasions, and it appears that he will join them on a free transfer.
According to transfer expect Fabrizio Romano, the 32-year-old has agreed terms over a two-year deal, and a deal will be announced soon.
The Argentine has agreed to take a pay-cut for the transfer, and his arrival is likely to convince Lionel Messi to extend his stay.
Messi's contract expires next month, but reports claim that Aguero is joining the Blaugrana with the assurance of playing alongside his compatriot.
Aside from Aguero, the Blaugrana are also working out Bosman deals for Lyon forward Memphis Depay and Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum.
