Chelsea defender wanted by three Serie A clubs

Inter Milan, Napoli and Lazio are among the clubs interested in signing Chelsea defender Emerson Palmieri this summer.

The 26-year-old made just 15 appearances last term with Marcos Alonso and Ben Chilwell preferred ahead of him for the left-back role.

He has only 13 months left on his contract, and could make a return to the Serie A in the forthcoming weeks.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Inter, Napoli and Lazio are all weighing up offers for the Italy international.

Emerson has also been linked with former club Roma, though the change of manager may have cooled their interest.

The Blues are planning to offload multiple players as they look to recoup funds for a summer spending spree.

The likes of Tiemoue Bakayoko, Tammy Abraham and Kepa Arrizabalaga could be heading for permanent exits.

The club are planning to sign a new striker. Inter Milan's Romelu Lukaku has been identified as the top target.

However, Inter don't have any plans to sell him this summer.
