Aston Villa make fresh bid for Emile Smith Rowe
Aston Villa have reportedly made an improved offer to sign Arsenal midfielder Emile Smith Rowe this summer.
The Villans are ambitious with their transfer plans, and they recently paid a club-record fee to sign Emiliano Buendia from Norwich City.
They are planning to strengthen their attack further, and Evening Standard claims that they have come up with an improved bid for Smith Rowe.
The Gunners recently rejected an opening £25m offer from Villa. They have now snubbed the renewed £30m bid from the west Midlands outfit.
The north London giants have no plans to sell their graduate this summer, and they are focused on renewing his current contract.
He has two years left on his existing deal. Talks are underway over a renewal, but there has been no breakthrough as of yet.
The Gunners are fairly relaxed over the situation as Smith Rowe is clearly happy at the club and should extend his contract in due course.
