Liverpool set asking price for Xherdan Shaqiri
Liverpool are reportedly looking for around £13 million to part ways with Xherdan Shaqiri during the summer transfer window.
Shaqiri was a regular on the bench last season with Diogo Jota, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane ahead of him in the pecking order.
He has two years left on his Reds contract, but Liverpool Echo claims that he is prepared to assess his options in the coming weeks.
Shaqiri is desperate for regular game time and is aware that he must move on in order to play consistently during the 2021/22 season.
However, the Reds are unlikely to bargain on their valuation, and it is claimed that they won't sell him for anything less than £13m.
Aside from Shaqiri, Divock Origi and Takumi Minamino could also be shown the exit door during the ongoing transfer window.
Minamino spent the back end of last season on loan with Southampton, and the Saints are exploring a permanent deal for him.
