Chelsea plan contract extensions for quartet

Chelsea will look to extend the contracts of N'Golo Kante, Jorginho, Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger in the coming months.

The Blues had an excellent end to the previous campaign with Champions League glory, and they are keen to reward their top performers.

Jorginho's future has been a topic of speculation over the past year with his agent constantly flirting over a possible return to Serie A.

However, according to Fabrizio Romano, he remains an undispenable figure with the Blues following his renaissance under Thomas Tuchel.

The hierarchy are keen to extend his contract expiring in 2023. Talks are also planned with his central midfield partner N'Golo Kante.

The club are also planning to renew the deals of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen. The duo have entered the final year of their contracts.

Chelsea have yet to make any summer signings, but they are actively on the hunt for an elite marksman to lead the attack next term.

They are eager to land Erling Braut Haaland, but Borussia Dortmund are determined to keep him for another season at least.
