Chelsea to offload Timo Werner this summer?
Chelsea could sanction the surprise departure of Timo Werner this summer as they look to recoup funds to sign Erling Braut Haaland.
The Germany international joined the Blues under much fanfare last summer, but he had a disappointing debut campaign.
He registered 12 goals and 15 assists from 52 games, but he was guilty of missing several clear-cut scoring chances.
This has prompted the Blues to search for another elite striker, and they have their sights on landing Haaland from Borussia Dortmund.
Dortmund are reluctant to lose their prized asset this summer, and only a staggering £150m bid will convince them to sell.
The Blues are already recouping funds. They are open to offers for Tammy Abraham, and Sky Germany claims that Werner could also leave.
Michy Batshuayi, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Ross Barkley, Ruben Loftus-Cheek are among the other players, who could be shown the exit door.
Hakim Ziyech was linked with a summer exit last month, but reports claim that Thomas Tuchel would like to keep him next season.
