Manchester United make Jerome Boateng transfer decision

Manchester United are not interested in signing Jerome Boateng on a free transfer this summer, Fabrizio Romano reports.
The German is currently a free-agent after leaving Bayern Munich at the expiry of his contract on June 30.
He has been linked with a Premier League move, but Romano claims that the Red Devils are not exploring a deal.
The club recently agreed to sign Raphael Varane from Real Madrid for a reported fee of around £42 million.
The World Cup winner will earn around £380,000-a-week. United are not considering a move for another centre-back.
Boateng could yet return to the Premier League with Chelsea and Arsenal also linked with his services in the past.
The Gunners may not make an approach after the huge outlay to sign Ben White from Brighton & Hove Albion.
The Blues are still searching for a new central defender. They have their sights on landing Sevilla's Jules Kounde.
If they are unsuccessful, they could be interested in Boateng. The 32-year-old has vast experience of 535 games to his name.
