Arsenal handed boost in signing La Liga striker
Arsenal have been handed a boost in signing Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri, according to Fichajes.net.
The Gunners were touted to sign a new marksman this summer, but they were unable to make a suitable purchase.
Hence, they decided to stick with Alexandre Lacazette despite the fact that he had entered the final year of his contract.
It is now reported that the club could make an offer for En-Nesyri in January that could see Lacazette move the other way.
The Gunners' backroom staff are admirers of the Morocco international. He could be signed for £38.5m plus Lacazette.
En-Nesyri had an impressive 2020/21 campaign for Sevilla, bagging 24 goals. He has netted three goals so far this term.
West Ham United are also interested in the marksman, but they are likely to be priced out of a potential deal for his services.
En-Nesyri has also been linked with Liverpool in the past, but a move is unlikely unless Roberto Firmino heads for the exit door.
