Manchester United make transfer decision on Declan Rice
Manchester United have reportedly ended their pursuit of West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice.
The Red Devils have been heavily linked with Rice over the past few transfer windows, but a deal has failed to materialise.
It was recently reported that the Hammers could sell the midfielder next summer if they receive around £90 million.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is an admirer of the England international, but The Star claims that the hierarchy are not interested.
They have no plans of meeting the price tag for the 22-year-old, and will instead focus on landing Leeds' Kalvin Phillips.
Phillips is comfortable with the Whites, but he could leave the club next summer if manager Marcelo Bielsa quits.
That could be a realistic possibility. Leeds are likely to sell him for around £60m during next summer's transfer window.
Kalvin Phillips has also been linked with Liverpool, but the Reds are focusing on a big-money move for Jude Bellingham.
The Borussia Dortmund sensation is currently deemed indispensable. The Reds are prepared to pay £100m to test Dortmund's resolve.
