West Ham United to swoop for Juventus midfielder
West Ham United are interested in signing Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie during the winter transfer window.
The Hammers were linked with multiple midfielders this summer, and they eventually signed Alex Kral on loan with an option to buy.
Kral has already made a good impression, but the Hammers could be facing the prospect of a midfield rebuild next summer.
Mark Noble has confirmed that he is retiring at the end of the campaign while Declan Rice could also head for the exit door.
Rice has turned down multiple contract offers from the Hammers. The club are willing to listen to offers of around £90m for him.
Hence, they are already lining up potential replacements, and have their sights on McKennie, who is available for the right price.
The Bianconeri only signed McKennie on a permanent deal from Schalke this summer, but they are open to sanctioning his sale.
A fee of around £40m was quoted last month. Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa could compete with the Hammers for his services.
