Barcelona want to sign Chelsea duo on free transfers?

Barcelona are interested in signing Chelsea duo Andreas Christensen and Cesar Azpilicueta on free transfers next summer.

The Blaugrana are currently facing budget restrictions due to their surplus wage bill, and they can't spend more than €20m on signings.

With this in mind, the focus appears on free transfers, and Fichajes claims that Christensen and Azpilicueta are among players on their radar.

The club plan to negotiate pre-contract deals with the duo in January, but it is uncertain whether they will have the opportunity to do so.

Christensen has publicly stated that he would like to continue with the Blues. He is expected to extend his stay beyond next summer.

However, the Blues have yet to make any progress with Azpilicueta, and there is the possibility that he may leave the club soon.

The Catalan giants are also eyeing a powerful midfielder, and have their sights on Bosman deals for Franck Kessie and Denis Zakaria.
