Pogba back on Real Madrid's radar

Real Madrid are monitoring Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba ahead of a possible free transfer.

The Frenchman has less than eight months left on his contract, and he has no plans of renewing his deal.

He can sign a pre-contract in January, and Marca claims that Los Blancos have entered the pursuit of his services.

The Spanish giants were keen on signing him in the summer of 2016 before he chose to rejoin the Red Devils.

He has since been linked with the club on numerous occasions, and they are now in a strong position to sign him.

Pogba has previously talked about his dream of playing for the club, and they are likely to open talks in January.

The World Cup winner is seen as an immediate replacement for Luka Modric, who could leave next summer.

The club are also interested in Monaco's Aurelien Tchouameni, but Pogba is viewed as the priority midfield target.

Tchouameni is considered as one for the future. Chelsea and Juventus have also been linked with the Monaco ace.
