Chelsea to make fresh move for PSG star?
Chelsea are planning to revive their interest in Paris Saint-Germain defender Marquinhos, according to Fichajes.
The Blues tried to sign the Brazil international last summer. They were willing to pay a club-record £100m fee.
However, Paris Saint-Germain did not entertain any offers while Marquinhos was also happy to stay with them.
Despite this, the Blues are still interested in his services, and they could make a fresh raid at the end of the campaign.
Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen could leave the Blues for free next summer with their contracts expiring.
Both players have shown a reluctance to sign new deals while there is also uncertainty over Cesar Azpilicueta's future.
Azpilicueta has been with the Blues for nearly a decade, but he has fallen down the pecking order in recent months.
James has been preferred ahead of him for the right wing-back role while he faces plenty of competition in central defence.
The injury to Trevoh Chalobah could boost his game time, but he has been linked with a move to Barcelona next summer.
Azpilicueta's contract also expires in June next year. The Blues are planning to propose a year's extension for the Spaniard.
