Manchester United duo to leave in January?

Manchester United duo Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard could head for the exit door during the January transfer window.

The Red Devils have endured a tough campaign thus far, and they are currently sixth in the league standings with 27 points on the board.

Ahead of the New Year, it appears that there could be a potential exodus with several out-of-favour players leaving the club.

Lingard has played less than 100 minutes of league football this term. He could be offloaded with his contract expiring next summer.

Meanwhile, interim boss Ralf Rangnick is also open to sanctioning the exit of Anthony Martial, who is frustrated with the lack of starts.

Aside from the duo, goalkeeper Dean Henderson is also keen on parting ways amid his struggles to displace David de Gea this term.

Rangnick is reluctant to let him leave unless a quality replacement is signed. Juan Mata could be another player that could move on.

Mata was handed a surprise one-year extension last summer when there was widespread speculation that he was leaving on a free transfer.
