Marseille are keen on signing Arsenal defender Sead Kolasinac during the ongoing transfer window.

The Bosnian is currently a squad player with the Gunners, and he has been touted to leave this month.

Galatasaray were recently linked with him, but L'Equipe claims that Marseille have now entered the pursuit.

Les Phoceens have a good working relationship with the Gunners. They signed William Saliba and Matteo Guendouzi on loan in the summer.

Out of the duo, Guendouzi has joined with an obligation to buy. They are now looking in a permanent deal for the out-of-favour Kolasinac.

The 28-year-old has less than six months left on his £140,000-a-week contract, and the Gunners could be open to mutually terminating his deal.

Marseille have had an impressive Ligue 1 campaign. They are currently third in the league standings, goal difference behind Nice with a game in hand.

They are eyeing low-cost additions in January such that they can sustain their Champions League spot for the rest of the current campaign.
