Barcelona president Joan Laporta has hinted that the club have completed the signing of Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen.

The Denmark international has just three months remaining on his Blues deal, and he is free to negotiate a pre-contract with an overseas club.

It has been reported that he has already agreed terms with Barcelona over a summer move. Laporta has now hinted the same via an interview.

He said: "We've completed two signings for the next season: one is a midfielder, the other one is a centre-back. But I'm not allowed to mention their names."

Aside from Christensen, it is known that Barcelona have struck a pre-contract agreement with AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie.

There could be more arrivals at Camp Nou this summer. The club are currently exploring a deal for Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta.

The Blues can extend his stay for another season via an appearance clause, but they won't do so if he has his sights on pursuing a new challenge.
