Juventus have their sights on Chelsea defender
Juventus could make an approach to sign Chelsea defender Emerson Palmieri, according to Calciomercato.
The Italy international joined Lyon on a season-long loan last summer. The French club have the option to buy him for €15 million.
It has been reported that they may not trigger the clause, but Emerson could still leave the Blues on a permanent basis this summer.
He will enter the final year of his contract in July. Calciomercato claims that the Bianconeri want to lure him back to the Serie A.
The Turin giants are long-term admirers of Emerson, and have followed him from his Roma days. They see him as an ideal signing at left-back.
Alex Sandro has been the regular in the position, but the Brazil international could be shown the exit door with his contract expiring in June 2023.
Emerson has been identified as a suitable successor. The Euro 2020 winner could be available for a knockdown price amid his contract situation.
