Man Utd handed Christopher Nkunku transfer blow?
Manchester United could miss out on signing RB Leipzig attacker Christopher Nkunku this summer, Sport1 claims.
The Frenchman has been in stellar form for the Bundesliga outfit this term, bagging 30 goals and 19 assists from just 44 outings.
This has led to suggestions that he could pursue a bigger challenge this summer, but United could miss out on landing him.
Leipzig are expected to demand at least €65m for the playmaker, but Nkunku will make the final decision on his next destination.
United are weighing up an approach after being recommended by Ralf Rangnick, but the 24-year-old could turn down their advances.
Nkunku wants the guarantee of Champions League football at his next club. United are not assured of playing in the competition next term.
The Red Devils are sixth in the Premier League standings with 54 points, three behind fourth-placed Tottenham, who have a game in hand.
They have a tough run-in with Arsenal and Chelsea to face this month.
