Man Utd missing six players for Chelsea clash
Manchester United are without six players for Thursday's Premier League encounter against Chelsea at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils were missing the services of Paul Pogba, Luke Shaw, Edinson Cavani and Fred for the recent loss at Arsenal.
Fred returned to training earlier this week, but he has not been deemed fit enough to face Thomas Tuchel's side tomorrow.
Meanwhile, there has been a fresh blow with club captain Harry Maguire having picked up a knee injury ahead of the game.
Jadon Sancho also won't be available for the contest due to tonsillitis. Their absence could be a big blow for the Red Devils.
Ralf Rangnick may prefer a back three tomorrow. In the absence of Maguire, Phil Jones could be reinstated into the starting XI.
Eric Bailly is the other option at the manager's disposal, but he has been completely out-of-favour since the turn of the year.
United must win against the Blues tomorrow to keep their slender hopes of qualifying for the Champions League alive.
