Thomas Tuchel confirms triple Chelsea injury boost for Man Utd game
Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has confirmed that Antonio Rudiger, Reece James and Andreas Christensen could return against Manchester United.
The Blues were without the trio against West Ham United on Sunday where they scrapped a 1-0 win. Christian Pulisic bagged a late winner.
Ahead of tomorrow's game versus United, Tuchel has revealed that Rudiger and James have returned to training after groin and hamstring issues.
The duo are likely to make the starting line-up against the Red Devils, and could be joined by Christensen if he passes the late fitness test.
The Dane was initially in the matchday XI to face the Hammers, but was left out of the line-up after complaining about stomach cramps.
He had a similar issue earlier this month, and Tuchel will be hoping that he is fully fit ahead of Thursday night's trip to Old Trafford.
Chelsea have a woeful record at the stadium. They will be eyeing to beat the Red Devils at Old Trafford for the first time in nine years.
