Arsenal keen on landing Belgian midfielder
Arsenal are keen on signing Leicester City star Youri Tielemans this summer, Fabrizio Romano claims.
The Belgian has been with the Foxes for the past three years, but could be on the move, having declined a new contract beyond June 2023.
The Foxes are open to selling Tielemans this summer, and Romano reports that the Gunners are considering a formal approach for him.
Still, a deal may not be straightforward. The Gunners will need to qualify for the Champions League to convince the midfielder to join.
They are currently on course to do so with a four-point lead over fifth-placed Tottenham Hotspur, but there is still work to be done.
The Gunners face Spurs away from home tomorrow. A victory in that game would ensure their Champions League berth.
A defeat, however, would mean that they must beat Newcastle United and Everton to qualify in case Spurs win their games.
Arsenal's end to the season could determine how their summer unfolds.
