Arsenal close to signing Yves Bissouma

Arsenal are reportedly close to signing Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Yves Bissouma this summer.
The Gunners are expected to sign a new midfielder in the upcoming transfer window and Youri Tielemans has been mentioned as the top target.
However, according to Calciomercato, Bissouma is also deemed to be an option. It is claimed that he is on the cusp of joining the Gunners.
Bissouma has been a long-term target for the north London giants, and he was first on their radar during the 2021 January transfer window.
Negotiations were held with his representative, but a transfer never materialised in the end. The Gunners may have revived their interest.
Bissouma is set to be sold by the Seagulls this summer, considering he is about to enter the final year of his contract with no plans to renew.
Aston Villa and Tottenham have also been linked with him in the past, but the former recently signed Boubacar Kamara on a free transfer.
It remains to be seen whether there is any truth to the speculation involving Bissouma, who is known to have been a boyhood Arsenal fan.
