Chelsea planning move for PSG defender
Paris Saint-Germain defender Presnel Kimpembe has emerged as Chelsea's new defensive target for the summer transfer window.
The Blues are keen on bolstering their central defensive department this summer after the departures of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen.
Sevilla's Jules Kounde is obviously the number one choice, and it has been reported that they could sign him before the end of the month.
However, the Frenchman may not be the only purchase. As per Christian Falk, the Blues are also interested in the services of Kimpembe.
Kimpembe has been a mainstay in the Paris Saint-Germain line-up over the years, but there are currently doubts regarding his future.
He will enter the final two years of his contract next month, and Les Parisiens could sanction his sale if he has no plans to renew.
The Blues are willing to spend a reasonable portion of their £200m budget on their defence. They may also pursue a new left wing-back.
