Chelsea confident of landing Man City duo?
Chelsea are confident about their chances of signing Raheem Sterling and Nathan Ake from Manchester City this summer.
The Blues are yet to make a signing during the ongoing transfer window, but they have lowered their wage bill with the loan exit of Romelu Lukaku.
The club are expected to offload a couple of more attacking players, but side by side, they are also planning new arrivals ahead of next season.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the west London giants have held talks with Manchester City over the potential transfers of Sterling and Ake.
They are still far from negotiating the fee for the duo, but have received a positive feedback with both players keen on joining the club.
Sterling is likely to cost between £45-50m for Chelsea. They may need to pay something similar to re-sign Ake from the English champions.
However, in the case of Ake, City seem reluctant to sell him this summer until they manage to land a suitable replacement in the transfer market.
