Chelsea interested in signing Presnel Kimpembe
Chelsea have expressed an interest in signing Presnel Kimpembe from Paris Saint-Germain, reputed journalist David Ornstein claims.
The Blues are on the verge of landing Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli. He is expected to sign for them following his medical tomorrow.
They now have their sights on signing Kimpembe from Les Parisiens, and Ornstein claims that he could play on the left side of the back three.
The Frenchman has spent his entire career with Les Parisiens, but the club are prepared to sanction his departure for the right price this summer.
Chelsea have the funds to spend under new owner Todd Boehly, and it appears likely that Kimpembe will be reunited with Thomas Tuchel soon.
A move for Kimpembe may raise doubts over an approach for Nathan Ake, who was initially considered to occupy the Antonio Rudiger role.
Ake has already agreed personal terms with the Blues, but a transfer could be unlikely with the Blues turning their attention towards Kimpembe.
