Arsenal can sign Youri Tielemans for £25m

Arsenal have the opportunity to sign Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans on a cut-price deal.

The north London giants are known to be admirers of the Belgium international, but are yet to make a transfer approach.

The Foxes were initially eyeing £30 million plus for the 25-year-old, but their valuation has now dropped with his deal expiring next summer.

Tielemans has no plans of signing a renewal and Standard Sport claim that he is now available for as little as £25m in the transfer market.

The Gunners are still playing the waiting game, but there is the anticipation that they could make a formal offer in the next few days.

As things stand, Tielemans will come up against the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday with no deal in place between the clubs.

Arsenal have made five signings in Marquinhos, Fabio Vieira, Matt Turner, Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko in the transfer window.

There could be more activity over the coming weeks. Aside from a central defender, they are also keen on pursuing a new right winger.
