Tottenham to make move for Yannick Carrasco

Yannick Carrasco news

Carrasco set for Spurs?

Tottenham have entered the raise to sign Belgium international Yannick Carrasco from Atletico Madrid before the transfer window closes, with the White Hart Lane outfit ready to spend 35 million euros to sign the attacker. Carrasco, who has previously spent time playing in China as well as a short period with French outfit Monaco, is ready to leave Atleti after a total of seven years over two spells.

Carrasco has 8 goals in 57 games for his country, and had fast become one of Europe's top talents before making a move away from Atletico to Dalian in China in 2018. A return to Atleti later followed, and he has since caught the eye once more.

Antonio Conte has hinted that he still sees the club as 2 or 3 players away from a title challenge, and therefore if a deal can be completed to sign Carrasco before the transfer window closes, the Italian manager will be delighted to have secured a deal.

Spurs have added significant strength in depth this summer transfer window, but a signing of Carrasco would top the list.
