Liverpool to battle Chelsea for South American star?

Liverpool could go head-to-head with Chelsea in the race to sign Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo in January.
The Ecuadorian was handed his Premier League debut by manager Graham Potter in April this year, and he has since been ever-present for Brighton.
His performances have caught the eye of some of Europe's elite clubs, and Football Insider claim that the Reds and Blues are most interested.
Potter recently took over the managerial role at Chelsea, and it has been widely claimed that he could reunite with his former midfielder.
However, the Blues won't have an easy task of luring him. Jurgen Klopp's side are likewise keen on pursuing the highly-rated 20-year-old.
Caicedo has been fantastic from the holding midfield role for Brighton, and he has stood out this campaign after the departure of Yves Bissouma.
He has excelled with nearly three tackles and two interceptions per game. His workrate on the ball has been compared to Chelsea's N'Golo Kante.
